I've written another awesome book! It's a collection of more short stories from cycling adventures in Scotland and northern England.
Included are multi-day off-road rides, races, bike-packing, and bothy visits. Travel with the author along secret ways hidden in the hills and well known routes, through struggles and exhilaration, meeting some strange characters along the way.

The Badger Divide
"I awoke to the early summer light and a cacophony of bird song. I dozed for a bit, slipping in and out of sleep, not wanting to make any kind of commitment to do anything.
'Daveee......you awake?', Jay quietly asked.
'Mmmmmmmm....just about'
'Fancy making a start?'
'Not really......'"
Rode the amazing #badgerdivide Inverness to Glasgow off-road with Jay. Torrential rain and constant headwind made it hard going. But loved it! pic.twitter.com/41p6sHyxPf

The Great North Trail
Day 2 (last Sunday) 142km on the Great North Trail. Amazing weather. Big hill climb to Great Dun Fell followed by a trek across remote moorland. Stopped for another dip in a pool at the last photo. pic.twitter.com/P5HjuTOE8x

"Dom had been right, I was soon climbing a ridiculously steep section of hillside acutely aware of the extra weight I was now carrying as it bumped around. I soon found myself in the easiest gear. I was struggling. It was still hot, and I was soon pouring with sweat as I cranked the pedals slowly around wobbling over the rough track surface and barely staying upright."
Argyll Bike-Packing

"We quickly covered the next long section through Archarossan forest. Riding the track roads was easy. Small dips and climbs keeping things interesting. And often the trees would thin out and give views out to the west where the water glowed in the sun and the Kintyre peninsula could be seen in the distance stretching out on a path perpendicular to our own."
The West Highland Way
"I was at the top of the aptly named Devil's Staircase, one of the highlights of the West Highland Way route. In front of me was the deep valley of Glencoe stretching out towards Rannoch moor in the south. Directly in front me, on the opposite side of the valley, was the dramatic mountain of Buachaille Etive Mor. "
Riding the West Highland Way - Day 1. Hard going but amazing. Very quiet, just met a few walkers all day. Really enjoyed it. Scenery and solitude. pic.twitter.com/fw0f6uStbK

Second City Divide
"I was finally off. The streets were empty and cold at this time of the morning. I quickly found myself at the start point of the official route. I took a photo and then headed along the first section; a lovely canal path. It was exciting to be at the start of another small adventure. I was looking forwards to all the unknown to me tracks which I’d be following for the next few days. "
Had a brilliant few days riding the #secondcitydivide Manchester to Glasgow! Day 1. The cobble "Cotton famine road" was built by workers otherwise unemployed partly due to supporting the abolition of the Atlantic slave trade. One of the highest roads in England. pic.twitter.com/CySvKq5bI4
