Description:Keywords
Seven human beings are going back from hunting. The style is realistic-dynamic. Two couples of hunters are holding two gazelles: on the left there are a woman and a child. In the middle, an anthropomorphic figure with animal face is ithyphallic. All five adult males hold a bow; three of them have a dagger with lunate pommel at the belt; four of them have an object held on the back which could represent either a water skin-gourd or a quiver. One of the figures also holds a spear, and one seems to have a mace with an elaborate head. The female is the only figure which shows some details of the dress. She also seems to wear shoes, and the same appears to be the case for four of the males. The scene has probably a connection with the worship of hunting and fertility. Animal
