Rock 2, Ribeira de Piscos is at the bottom of the valley, next to the stream. This site has fine line engravings from the Palaeolithic. This panel shows an auroch, with fine line contour showing the head and body, within the body are further striated lines. Overlaying the auroch is a male human figure, in this photograph only the head is visible. The top of the head can be seen just above the curve of the animals back. The figure is in profile, the facial features of eye, ear nose, cheek and mouth are represented, above the head or coming from the head are several short curved lines.
