Rock engraving from Hani, Jordan. Safaitic people of the Jordan Plateau, belonging to the first century AD.
Engraved stone from the tumulus of Hani with safaitic inscriptions. Including dedications of the people buried in the tomb. The woman is depicted between two horsemen and displays a peculiar hairdressing. She wears a long gown and a type of skirt around her waist. In her hand she holds a symmetrical lyre (WARA Archives W01379).
